Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • ½ head cauliflower about 4 heaping cups, chopped into florets or small pieces
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • cup gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon water plus more if needed
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • green onions diced for garnish
  • sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer (or oven) to 400 degrees. Chop the cauliflower into florets or small 1-inch pieces. In a large mixing bowl, combine and whisk together all ingredients from almond flour to soy sauce. If the batter is too thick, add another tablespoon of water. Taste and adjust if needed.
  • Add the cauliflower to the bowl and mix until coated with the gochujang batter. For crunchy cauliflower, coat in panko.
  • Once the air fryer is preheated, place the cauliflower into the air fryer and cook for about 8 minutes, rotating halfway through. Watch to prevent burning. Repeat until all cauliflower is cooked.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Enjoy with tacos, wraps, or rice!

Notes

Bake in the oven at 425 degrees for 18-20 minutes, optionally broil for the last 3 minutes.
