Ingredients
  

Butter Mixture

  • ½ cup unsalted butter very soft
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

Sandwich Assembly

  • 8 slices white bread
  • 12 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 6 ounces pepperoni
  • warm pizza sauce for dipping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a medium-sized bowl, mix together butter, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  • Spread the butter mixture over one side of the bread slices evenly and place them butter side up on a sheet tray.

Cooking

  • In a skillet over medium-low heat, place a slice of bread butter side down. Top with mozzarella, 6 pepperoni slices, another slice of mozzarella, 6 more pepperonis, and a final slice of mozzarella.
  • Top with another slice of bread, butter side up. Cover skillet to melt cheese. Cook until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes, then carefully flip sandwich and continue cooking until golden brown on both sides and cheese is melted.
  • Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
  • Serve immediately with warm pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Enjoy the rich flavors of this delightful sandwich! You may have leftover pepperoni.
