Iced Tea
- 4 cups Hot Water
- 3 bags Black tea (English Breakfast Tea)
- 2 sprigs Sage
- 3 springs Mint
Blackberry Syrup
- 1 cup Fresh Blackberries Frozen will work
- 1 cup Sugar
- ¼ cup Water
- 1 pinch Sage Optional
- 1 splash Lemon Juice
How to Brew the Tea
Place your hot water into a large bowl or open container, followed by the tea bags, sage and mint leaves. Allow the tea to seep to your desired strength then remove keeping the mint and sage in the container.
Let the tea cool before sealing and put into the fridge.
How to Make the Blackberry Syrup
Combine the Blackberries, Sugar, water, a splash of lemon juice and pinch of sage to a pot and bring to a boil.
Once the pot has boiled turn it down and simmer until blackberries are soft and syrup has thickened.
When cooled, pour the syrup into a container, seal and store in the fridge or a cool place until its time to use.
